Patrick Omeje is among the the youngest chairman in Enugu state Nigeria

The Executive Chairman of Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State, Hon. Patrick Omeje jnr, is dead.

Details of his demise were scanty by press time but sources said he died in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to a source, “Omeje reportedly took ill last week when he complained of malaria attack only for us to hear this morning that he has died. It is a sad development.”

Checks at the Omeje family house at Nsukka indicated that the premises was under lock and key.

staff of Nsukka Local Government said the report had been received at the secretariat but it was yet to be confirmed officially.

Well, I'm surprised with the new insurge of malaria, I hope we do not have a new malaria strain.
Last week, I have seen two people with severe malaria, I would have confirmed it to be covid19, but they have recovered and they are old people.
