Following the Apeal Court pronouncement that upheld the suspension of embattled Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has named Senator Abiola Ajimobi as acting national chairman of the party.

Ajimobi has functioned as the National Deputy Chairman South of the party.

A statement by the Publicity Secretary Lanre Issa-Onilu said the elevation was in line with the constitution of the party.

The statement said, the NWC “has received the news indicating the Appeal Court has upheld the suspension of the Party’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole by an FCT High Court pending the determination of the substantive suit.

“Guided by advice from the Party’s legal department in line with the provisions of Section 14.2. (iii) of the Party’s constitution, the Deputy National Chairman (South), Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, will serve as the Party’s Acting National Chairman.

“According to Section 14.2. (iii), of the APC constitution, the Deputy National Chairman, North/South “Shall act as the National Chairman in the absence of the National Chairman from his zone”.

Lol....obaseki might still be gone though, because the Ajimobi I know is more undiplomatic than oshiomole....He single handedly fought all power blocks in APC Oyo, and that paved way for PDP....the man nah mad smooth talker who's madness can go on and off at anytime.

There is no difference between six and half a dozen.

The people that want oshiomhole out from the NWC will regret their actions by the time Chief Abiola "constituted authority" Ajimobi gives them just half of what he has in stock for them.

The point I'm trying to make: Ajimobi is ten times more virulent than Oshimople. Just wait and see.
