This is to inform our faithful party members and supporters that there is a fake letter,pictured underneath, going round different social media platforms purported, to have emanated from the office of the People's Democratic Party,PDP,Care Taker Committee, and signed by State Publicity Secretary of the party, Abraham Alberah Catoh, to the effect that there was going to be an "immediate conduct of Congress in the remaining 17 Wards spread across the 4 Local Govt.Areas on Tuesday 16/6/2020 and a Local Government Congress on the 18/6/2020"; this is completely false! It is the handwork of some criminal minded and desperate politicans to secure another court order on the 16/6/2020, at Kafanchan High Court.

The State Care Taker Committee,CTC, condemned this fraudulent behaviour by these desperate politicans to distract us from performing our Constitutional Responsibility.

We have accordingly reported the matter to the security agencies (the Nigeria Police and Department of State Security,DSS) for investigation.

The party calls on our party members to remain calm and also disregard this document, as we have not even sat to discuss on this matter. We shall make the announcement at the appropriate time.

Finally, we urge all PDP members to remain focused and law abiding.
