The incumbent governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki has removed flag of the All Progressive People's party (APC) from his office following a recent fall out with the leadership of the party. Obaseki is now expected to decamp to PDP and use their platform to contest for the forthcoming Edo state elections.
