If you look at aerial images of major SE cities Enugu, Owerri, Onitsha and Awka, you see that they resemble Abuja and newer Lagos residential areas in terms of modern look; that is a testament that the same people(Igbos), are the ones developing all these places because they all look alike. Now, no other states in SW look like Lagos or Abuja, an evidence they yorubas are not the ones developing the Lagos they are claiming, and certainly Abuja is a no go area for them.

Enugu was Capital of old Eastern Region and Capital of old Anambra, Owerri was already a Capital for many years before the birth of Awka as the Capital of Anambra, Calabar was even at a time Capital of Nigeria, Uyo enjoyed 13 percent derivation so comparing all these Cities with Awka is unfair. Awka is really trying to catch up with bigger cities in Nigeria and above all the best destination to invest right now in Nigeria.

Even agulu , oko , ekwulobia were far developed than awka before then
