So, in this case, someone drops a review of a Black Lives Matter movie. Another person quotes the review and talks about the movie's position with the reality of black lives matter protest. Another person then quotes the second person to talk about race and black lives matter internationally. The original person who dropped the review quotes the third person and gives his own knowledge on race issues internationally.

The 3rd person and the op's second comments are tangential. What you are now saying is that the op should only drop reviews and not drop another comment (or reply in this case) on the themes of the movie. That is silly. So, someone cannot follow up on the review he posted. They should now be commenting on two threads- first, the movie review thread and secondly the movie chat thread. Stop making up silly rules.

Most times these discussion is what keeps the thread lively. Reading reviews and names of movies only can be extremely boring. In my own opinion,the movie section doesnt need a chatroom. The existing thread can contain that.
