Biogas is a mixture of methene and carbondioxide produced by anaerobic digestion of organic waste matter used as a fuel or cooking gas. Biogas is a source of wealth that occurs naturally without agrochemical. It is cheap and eco-friendly. You can easily produce your cooking gas from home from your domestic waste. These are the steps as stated below.

1. Gather your domestic waste such as vegetables waste, fruits waste, cassava peels and yam peels.

2. Chop or grind them into fine particles.

3. Mix the particles waste with cow dump.

4. Put or fill the whole mixture into bioreactor or sealed dug well.

5. Allow the set up or the mixture to stay atleast for three weeks.

6. Your biogas is ready for use.

N/B The bioreactor or well is connected via the hose to the gas burner and it must be airtight.
