ABUJA ENTERTAINMENT STAKEHOLDERS SET TO ORGANISE THE FCT CREATIVE SECTOR


Looking at creative industry in Abuja one will tend to ask many questions on what’s being going on as they have being so quite and marginalised by the FCT Admistraion. It was gathered that members of the industry couldn’t take it anymore as stakeholders of the various sector was forced to hold an emergency meeting to bring an end to this marginalisation and neglect by the FCT administration especially in a though season like the COVID-19.


Now on the 20th of June 2020 the various leaders of the sector held an emergency stakeholders meeting in Abuja hosted by a music vetarian baba2010 the megastar musician who won countless awards nationwide for his Majo’ovo hit song released towards the promotion of the Unity of nigeria.

In attendance was the who is who in the Abuja entertainment industry as the meeting featured great men and women like sir Agility who was the former AGN Abuja charpter and popularly known as the chairman of all Chairmen,super grew beard Comedian Ghana Must GO, Multiple award Gospel artiste and co convener of the stakeholders meeting Amb. Phil Roberts, Rachel the piper, Julietta of the diamond music, Yoruba music king Yomi also called Bobby Yinkus, Ndanusa Ndaisaia a leader in pman and the entertainment editor of the leadership newspapers, Hon Ejiro CEO of the most beautiful girl in Abuja event, baba2010, dr ayuba the financial expert turned comedian, Humanitarian Goodwill Ambassadors award founder and host Amb Chris Odey, Superstar Radio and television presenter, producer and director of transmission Barry Avotu Johnson 1st turned clergy and others who made up the 20 persons at the meeting plus others who participated via the internet using zoom and Skype from the music, movie, fashion, comedy and dance sub-industry all seated as a family to talk over the issues affecting the industry and delineated more on the covid19 pandemic that have killed and continue to kill citizens of the world.

In an interaction with the attendees they all resolved to come under one single umbrella to fight the covid19 pandemic and other pressing issues affecting the development of the industry over the years in Abuja.

The meeting was highly expected for the past one year and the stakeholders showed so much love and affection for each other as deliberations were on a high tension which later brought positive results to the birth of a new general body that would be in total control of the activities of entertainment in the federal capital city of Nigeria.

Members were drawn from the body of Comedians, Musicians, Actors, DJ’s, Dancers,Peagent Organisers and media reps


The new pilot organisation’s name and action plan for the 2020 calender year and beyond would be unveiled to the media on Tuesday 23rd June 2020 immediately after another stakeholders meeting is held at the same venue where the federal government’s presidential task force on covid19 Social distancing rules was observed by all the attendees, everyone was on mask and hands were washed before and after the meeting
