Just to let you know that you are damn right. In addition, people are just losing their sense of taste and smell temporarily without Knowing what causes it

What I know is that NCDC isn't giving us full details of coronavirus in Nigeria, the cases are being manipulated on daily basis , you see those hundreds they release everyday, na Wash and I am just wondering why they want to impose cases on states , that's to tell you something is fishy.

Kudos to NCDC
kudos to APC FG

Your type should be arrested. Corona virus is real and seriously underreported. Stop this trash. Politians use it as avenue to loot.

Una don do well. Such a failure of a government later their e-rats will be everywhere Attacking people for saying the truth that sometimes I wonder if they ever think of tgeir children's future and the future of Nigeria. This coronavirus issue in Nigeria has exposed how weak, visionless and incompetent the APC Led government is but many won't accept. They will prefer to be paid 20k monthly to tell lies and support incompetence than stand up to change the narrative

The last time I heard the news, covid 19 was still a deadly and highly contagious virus with no cure in place. So if u say no state is free of the virus then u are trying to tell us that all the figures u've been dishing out are fake.

What will it take the fg to establish testing labs in all the state after 4 months of receiving billions of naira to fight the virus?
If a state say they don't have d virus, and they are not dying mysterious deaths, then they don't have it. Why do you want to impose a virus on People audiorically?
What will it take for States to establish it themselves? sad.

Virology exists in Nigeria?! Seriously, I mean there are Nigerian virologists??!... grin

This is what happens when all we do is read, cram, and pass!!!... It's hard for me to believe there are seasoned epidemiologists in this nation!!!
Yeah. I like how our so called indigenous scientists have all kept silent cheesy grin. No university is carrying out any serious study. Just wait for what is coming out of south korea before we do something. If we were serious this pandemic would have changed a lot of things in our health education sector but we aren't angry

The world is resuming full activities on all fronts. Covid-19 is being phased out gradually. Why are cases of Covid-19 rising in Nigeria suddenly? Is it because of the money that will be collected from the WHO and other donor Agencies? Africa has not really been affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Let us be honest with ourselves.
Phased out in New Zealand maybe grin. The virus is still gripping the world. Check the news.

Well true. Unfortunately they keep reminding us that this is Nigeria sad. Sad that before covid only Lagos and Abuja had something close to infections disease facilities. Four months down the virus and up to 20 states haven't moved to establish their own centres and are still waiting for NCDC sad. The kind of headache in this country sad

Amid a global race to find COVID-19 vaccine, a team of Nigerian scientists recently announced the discovery of a novel coronavirus vaccine that may help prevent the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection, according to a report by The Guardian Nigeria.

The discovery of the vaccine for COVID-19, which has so far killed at least 465,300 people globally, was announced on Friday by Nigerian Universities’ Scientists.

Dr Oladipo Kolawole, a specialist in Medical Virology, Immunology and Bioinformatics, at Adeleke University, Ede in Osun, and leader of the research team, said during a news conference that the vaccine was being developed locally in Africa for Africans. According to Kolawole, the unnamed vaccine, when unveiled, would also work for other races.

Kolawole said the group had been working extensively by exploring the SARS-CoV-2 genome from African countries to select the best possible potential vaccine candidates. He added that after trying out some selected processes of vaccine development, the researchers were able to choose the best potential vaccine candidates for the SARS-CoV-2.

The unveiling of the unnamed vaccine would take a minimum of 18 months, Kolawole said, as a lot of analysis and studies, as well as approvals by medical authorities, were still required.

Coronavirus Coronavirus lockdown Coronavirus vaccine COVID-19 Nigeria Africa
If it's true, there's still nothing new. There are over 100 vaccine candidates All over the world undergoing various stages of trials now. Until it's confirmed effective.

every country hitted with this pandemic took some important measures. We heard of those that built infectious diseases facilities in less than 10days, those that start massive testing, those that slash their public workers' salaries, those that distributed palliatives to both their citizens &non-citizens, etc., what have our government done? It's very sad that this pandemic didn't send fears to our politicians to start doing good but made them more worst than beasts.

Did you even bother to read my original post? Who is saying the Coronavirus Pandemic has ended? What some of us are saying is that even the most infected nations are resuming full activities on all fronts. I am not even a football freak like that. The Corona virus is in Africa but not that devastating as other parts of the world. Malaria, Cholera etc kill more than 650 people in 3-4 moths in Nigeria, yet our population is growing smiley smiley smiley smiley. Are we really sure all these recent deaths in Nigeria are due to the Coronavirus or other ailments the deceased are battling with?

This is the WHO covid special funding request in their website.

They're projecting 675 million dollars to supply equipment and manpower support to about 135 countries. They're not sharing money.
