t take a courageous person to have interest in serving Nigeria during a time when there is pandemic, having waited many years for the opportunity to serve, and missed out during the time of Ebola virus pandemic in 2014.

A medical doctor, Dr. Adedolapo Adesanya, (photo below) still have the enthusiasm to serve and waited patiently for to be called for the frontline health worker in Nigeria to fight the novel corona virus disease.

He was excited when he was called to serve among the health workers in the frontline of Covid19 fight at the Eti-Osa covid19 isolation center Lagos.

According to him, getting to the isolation center and working there has been so interesting to him. He said he was so excited in treating patients who are both asymptomatic and symptomatic both elderly and young people.

However he said his most saddest moment was when they lost one covid19 patients having tried their best to save the patient's life.

He added that healthy workers, in groups, at the isolation center have therapy section where they reflect and shared their emotions. The therapy section provides an opportunity for them to 'vent' around current and even past issues faced by them.

Furthermore, he said, he is happy to volunteer as a covid19 frontline worker, he felt fulfilled whenever he sees patient leave the center with smile on their faces and heart of gratitude.
