Meanwhile, State High Court in Ekpoma stops PDP, INEC and others from preventing or trying to prevent any governorship aspirant cleared by PDP Screening Committee from participating in Thursday party congress for election of PDP Governorship Candidate.

PDP is not petitioning based on whether he restrained Obaseki or not but on the fact that the court does not have jurisdiction to entertain the matter in the first place, based on which the judge would have returned it to the chief judge of the federal high court for it to be reassigned to either the federal high court Abuja or Benin which have jurisdiction to hear the matter. The matter will either struck out or reassigned on Thursday on grounds of jurisdiction. This is despite the fact he did not restrain Obaseki from contesting.

I said it before, once pdp wahala starts, they will blame everyone but themselves. Now APC is not blaming pdp and the judiciary, but themselves.
Pdp will blame Buhari, Fulani, Yoruba, judiciary, legislatures, USA, SA UN and anyone blamable bodies.

As it is now, PDP needs Obaseki's clouts to snatch Edo state from APC. Without Obaseki in the race for PDP, APC will have field day in rigging the election should Obaseki decide to play neutral.
None of them cared for governorship in 2024. They are all after what they get right now. They wouldn't care if PDP never win any election as long as they get paid for all they do to destabilize their own party.

The matter is not even in his jurisdiction, he is trying to get involved to share in the money, that's all. He too is looking for dollars to pay his children school fees in Eton and Oxford universities in London. The Nigeria/Africa/ is in slavery oooo. We are facing both institutional and political slavery

Why can't you just read the petition. Nawa for you people o. See you see the petition and you are asking another person to tell you what they said. Let me tell you what is written there.

PDP fear that:
1. There is hidden agenda between Ihima and the Judge for Ihiama to choose PH Harcourt over Benin and Abuja Harcourt.
2. For the Judge to admit the case even when it's clear that is not within it jurisdiction.
3. The desperation of the judge to fix hearing tomorrow is a cause for concern
4. If the court pronounce any thing bad against Obaseki tomorrow, there might not be time to vacate the order before the primaries.
In light of the above, PDP need to be proactive. Hence their petition to NJC.

Federal High Court has jurisdiction everywhere.

Yesterday, the 2nd Defendants lawyer said he was filing a preliminary objection to the jurisdiction of this court and we clearly made it known to him that the FEDERAL HIGH COURT is 1 JURISDICTION nationwide. Yet they are still carrying this argument about
