Hey all! The issue is a very serious one. I am currently in Maiduguri and we are all running like street boys. All shops are locked and "operation flush" and soldiers are chasing everyone out of the main roads. I just got home now and my heart still beats very hard even as i am typing. My mission in Maiduguri is not finished but hmm! I am going back to Kaduna tomorrow. I wish i could even make it this night because there is no place like home. . Just a day before yesterday, the police went mad and started arresting all "okada men" asking them to pay N1000 each. They instantly got a response from some gun men as the DPO and some other police men were shot dead. . And yesterday evening, while i was going to the university, another serious chaos with gun shots arose. This led to another unrest in the state. I AM MISSING MY HOME O. Maiduguri is not a place to stay for now. |
