Nigeria can lift every Nigerian from poverty in 30 days Assuming 1,000,000 Nigerians have N1 billion and above in account and are given an incentive to encourage them to donate N100 million to a Economy Stabilisation Fund which will be share to all Nigerian. Nigeria population is 200 million. N100 million* 1 miilion Nigerians = N100,000,000,000,000 (100,trillion) / 200 ,000,000= N500,000 per Nigeria . With N500,000 one can start a good business. The Incentive they will get can be 200% directly from federal government revenue from tax, you will agree that revenue will increase as a result of the action. since they are the catalyst , they deserve the 200% cashback . |

What a wrong assumption of Nigerian having one million billionaires, what u are saying is one in every two hundred Nigerians is a billionaire, not even US has that ratio, the total billionaires in naira will not even reach 50,000 so pls get your facts right. If its billionaires in dollars we do not even have up to 10!!! 1 Like 1 Share |

The first assumption already negates your proposal. Nigeria does not have 1million residents/citizens with 1 billion naira cash in their accounts. |

Op need to learn, you don't lift people out of abject poverty by just giving out money because many people you grouped in the same poor class was once rich people but not having the intellect to double the money or expand it have returned them back to square one. orientation is very important, I personally believe no one is poor except people that have poor mind. having said this I concur to some of your intentions, imagine those going to Jerusalem and mecca this year gave money meant for their travelling documents and flights including money that will be paid to Saudi Arabia and Isreal to their family member let say, you will be surprise how the statistic of poor people in Nigeria will reduce |

The greatest way Nigeria can help Nigeria is by the poor(including myself) birthing less than they can take care off.. with that, the chances of getting out of the poverty line is higher.. Rather than take 5 children to a 10k tuition fees school, it can conveniently take 1 to a 50k better school. |

Op, what then happens to inflation when share money that way? Probably, a loaf of Bread will then cost 100k. As Heavensent01 rightly said, you don't lift people out of abject poverty by just giving out cash! A whole lot of things need to change... Our orientation, values, educational system, polity, etc. |
