Cross river state allocation for 2019 was 50+billion naira, and the govr proposed a budget of 1trillion naira for the 2019 fiscal year.
Do these govrs understand what budget or appropriation bill really mean?
It's like a labourer earning 3thousand a month planning to buy Lamborghini and travel to UK to watch all Arsenal football Club matches in December as his vacation plan.
These guys are making governance look like a rocket science.
If ur gross allocation plus gross internally generated revenue in a year is less than 100billion naira, your appropriation bill for the year shouldn't exceed 200billion if u r targeting 90percent execution rate.

This is eye opening. Seeing what each state collect from what they contributed for the year 2019 is indeed eye opening. For those commenting note that this is not only contribution from crude oil, but from other aspects of our states' economies as well.


South South remains the wealthiest zone in the country. No wonder ipoo keep attaching themselves to SS at any slight opportunity.
