Over years, government of countries around world have evolved in the application of modern technologies in the day-to-day running of its activities.

The same could be said for Nigeria’s Government as the citizenry witness the monumental increase in the the use modern structures with the state of the art facilities in government offices and digitization of government processes.

However, there are still areas where archaic structures are still used by government agencies and parastatals. Anambra state government falls in this category!

Amawbia, a remote town in Awka, the state capital of Anambra “boasts” of an ancient building with zero 21st Century modernization housing the Anambra State Vehicle Licensing Office.

Below are the photos of the “edifice” which was erected in the 1990s as obtained by News9naija.

If this post which would definitely spark tribal dispute here makes FP, I'll be so disappointed with the MODS and know that they are the grand architect of tribalism on NL

Why do we have a penchant for new buildings which are the end may not function as it should? What is important is that people are functioning in that building effectively. Go to UK and see the sort of old buildings used to operate government businesses. We just like waste and avenue to steal in this country

The office might be in a rural part of the state or an annexe that is not in active use.
