WTF did I just watch shocked A stampede during the burial of a person that died of COVID-19, just to collect a plate of food! Are these guys that hungry and hopeless? Yet they will be mocking the North for having almajiris and being poverty stricken even when they are worse off.

Tomorrow Yeye Kale will console them with a fake statistics about how they are the richest region. Audio people grin

He's correct, boss. I was there 2015 people were poor. Went back March 2019, people are still poor if not poorer. Infrastructure yes but no human development.
Apart from the new road that passed through the area where I was before nothing changed in the lives of the people I there.

I pity those who see this kind of project as the meaning of development. All these Flyovers u see here are constructed on Federal road. This same man u re praising increased Tax from N1200 to N14000 minimum, this ur Fanciful Governor reduced d salaries of all the workers in Ebonyi State. This same man because of his selfish interest to sell all the shops in the uncompleted Intl. Makt has made many people jobless today. His policy is d worst i ve seen d State. I don't like commenting on issue like this, i hate when one praises a fancy project like this without considering weda or not it's necessary to live of d citizens.

Silent achiever

what is the purpose of flyovers in an area that has no traffic when people are hungry, schools are producing half baked graduates and hospitals are poorly staffed and equipped?

Just asking because it seems to be the new fad now to boast of flyovers, now that post 2015 there is no money to embark on the previous fad of unviable state Airports.

[s]Nigerian governors and unnecessary projects....what is the population and the traffic congestion rate of Abakaliki that made him build such flyover?

the money should have been used to build industries[/s]

Would you have said that if it was Osun or Ekiti? Stop hiding your envy and jealousy under the guise of being altruistic.

You have problems! Fayose did the same thing. I asked the same question. Where is the traffic in Ado Ekiti? Aregbe built airport in Osogbo, I asked why, when there is airport in Ibadan?

Ibadan was the capital of the western region for many decades, all the factories outside Lagos were there, the largest city in Africa second only to Cairo, it didn’t have a flyover till 2015 because it didn’t need one.

Tribalism will always keep you downtrodden. It is because of simpletons like you that our leaders embark on unviable projects to feed their ego and yours. These are the kind of projects that appeal to unenlightened electorate because you don’t have the sense to ask....why? To what end? Is that the best use of limited public funds?

The standards for governance in Nigeria are abysmally low.

In the year of our Lord 2020, we're still heralding the construction of some basic flyover as an "achievement".

Shameful.

Lol. Afonjas are hungry, yet you desert your lands to seek greener pastures in Afonja lands.

Your people are littered all over the SW (with several of them constantly trooping in) trying to please "hungry" Afonjas...
