The ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) Caretaker/Extra-Ordinary Convention Committee holds it's inaugural meeting on Monday at the National Executive Committee (NEC) room at the party's National Secretariat on Abuja.

The meeting is about to commence.

Among the early arrived are the Secretary of the committee, Senator John Akpan Udoedege, Niger State Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, former Senate President, Ken Nnamani and the Chairman of the committee, Governir Mai Mala Buni of Your State.

Sources close to the party Secretariat said that the former deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom will present a handing over note to the committee.

Delay will be dangerous for ACN if they dont act now. After the convention CPC will consolidate and that will be game over for Tinubu and co.

This convention is a consolidation master plan by Buhari and his camp

I learnt a big lesson. Never accept ceremonial posts. When things go wrong people blame u as a leader when in fact you are powerless given the position u hold.

The real leader coughed and APC got back on track.

So Oshiomole was chairman for just 2 years but because of the conflicts here and there under his chairmanship, it appears as if he had been chairman for more than 5 years
