If he was treated for malaria and he got over it, depending on the cocktails used for his treatment, he may survive Covid-19. I do not think chloroquine is effective but if included in the cocktails, it might help. Could also be the reason he was asymptomatic. Akeredolu is not a bad guy by reputation. |

Probably Ajimobi Appear to Akeredolu at night...or like other sitting APC governor, it might be another means or avenue for using COVID 419 pandemics to campaign for his second term... |

IvarTheBoneless: What do you also have to say about the ones alive but d squandered the money? They are everywhere. You named Ajimobi and Kyari as if they are the beginning of Nigerian Healthcare problems.. Yes the contributed but why call their names instead of generalizing those who looted and destroyed the system. you are just trying to play politics with their names and death... and like trying to justify their death as a result of their negligence. Are the looters alive better than them? .. If you want to call names include their predecessor including your darlings in pdp.. Let the dead rest pls |

In Nigeria to a far greater extent than most other nations, political power can indeed be a two-edged sword that cuts both ways, depending on world events and the tides of history. On one hand, rising even to the lowly post of a local government chairman in Nigeria, assures direct access to massive cash flows of both the legitimate, and the downright illegal varieties, while the rewards grow decidedly fatter, the further up the food chain career politicians can claw and climb. In Nigeria, the financial rewards that accrue to ministers, governors, senators and presidents, rise exponentially the closer to the very pinnacle of power they ascend. There is no indication today, that this "special relationship" between Nigerian government "service" and instant unexplained wealth, will ever change in the foreseeable future. On the other hand, being in public office in Nigeria places those lucky few officials on a never-ending treadmill of meetings, crowded political rallies, seminars, conferences, late night road trips along bandit infested roads, air travel aboard rickety Aba-made aircraft, and political skulduggery that often entails the deployment of hired gunmen, to name but a few of the hidden perils that can and do shorten the life of Nigeria's wealthy political elite. Of course, Nigerians being the eternal die-hard optimists that they are, would always offer the stock prayer that "God forbid bad ting", when embarking on political careers for profit, but there come times when prayers and expectations are simply confounded by unfolding reality. Now that late and un-lamented Nigerian military tyrant Sanni Abacha's touted Vision 2020 promise is manifesting by way of a deadly global pandemic in the year 2020, it is no surprise to see that a statistically significant number of Nigerian political office holders and "civil servants", are, by virtue of their jobs, contracting a potentially deadly virus from the very public that they have little option but to meet, personally, at various levels of interaction. Governor Akeredolu is hereby offered the most heartfelt prayers and wishes for a rapid recovery. A rugged individualist who is the FIRST EVER Nigerian state governor to openly and repeatedly call for the full decriminalization of cannabis production throughout the nation, in order to exploit the multi-BILLION DOLLAR medical cannabis industry in Nigeria, our Akson Gomina Akeredolu is BOUND to emerge from self isolation without breaking his stride once now, or later. Fearless, innovative minds are by nature designed to prevail under the myriad travails of adversity, and so it will be for Akeredolu, a true rare breed built for the long haul, while rolling down that unpredictable winding road of life. My Gomina ! Akeredolu is da MAN ! ! Our Gomina go BOUNCE BACK, and all enemy of progress dem go just dey weep. Write am down today. |
