Titled: The Prayer of Gethsemane

There could have been a time in your life when you faced a challenge (trial of faith) that no one understood how you felt. Even though some close friends and family members wanted to help, they could do nothing.
There may be some situations right now, you have been praying to God for a solution, yet no answers are forth coming. You may have fasted, prayed and people may have as well interceded on your behalf without results. But I tell you right now, irrespective of the situations your in, if you can allow the will of God to prevail you would have that long awaited testimony.

[b]Whatever may be your case? [/b]

 A life partner, job, admission, visa?
 Fruit of the womb, overcoming bad habits?
 Breakthrough in business, car, house?
Of which you desire quick answers, thinking time is no longer favorable to your situation and people are talking. Remember, Jesus was in the say situation when He made the prayer at Gethsemane.

Mark 14:36 (NKJV)
• And he said “Abba, father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what you will.”

Some situations and challenges may not go the way you expect. so you should stop fighting and let God fight for you, say the prayer of Gethsemane to let God’s will prevail over your desire that may be the solution to your problems.

Stop running from church to church, drinking and bathing with different oil and substances, God does not need those things to solve your problems just let His will be done like Jesus did.

His Will is meant to be our everyday desire, not an occasional one though.

Matthew 6 vs 5-15

5. “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.
6. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
7. “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
9. Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.[a]
10. Your kingdom come,
your Will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11. Give us this day our daily bread,[c]
12. and forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.[d]

14. For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,
15. but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

The OP is right.let me add two more aspect to the above verse.
1.our Lord prayed to make the Will of God and His own will One.
If the Will of God in our lives is to preach/teach His Word,we still need to pray always in order to make His Will and our will ONE whenever we are preaching/teaching His Word.
2.the Father and Son has always been together even before creation itself.and by the Son taking up the cup there must be separation between them for the first time.imagine been in a relationship with someone u love so much then suddenly the person turns his/her back on u when u needed them the most.atimes when we needed God the most to handle/takeaway some pressing issues/problem away from us it seems as if He has turned His back on us just like He did to our Lord on the cross.
The Father reunited with the Son three days later.
So we must continue in prayers disregarding the coldness we might be experiencing during that period.ours might be 3days,3weeks,3months or years.one thing is sure He will definitely answer and reunite with us again.
