It was a very bad day today that i have the misfortune to pass through a road called enugu to onitsha expressway,its quite an irony if this stretch of muddy quagmire is an idea of a highway it befuddles the minds,an unbroken chain of big trucks line the swamp called highway from ugwuoba(enugu state) to awka(anambra state)a distance of nearly 15-20kilometers,i was nearly moved to tears to see the level of suffering by drivers on the roads,most have stayed 4-5 days because of the nearly impassable natture of the roads,it makes one to wonder if this is not a delibrate ploy to stifle economic growth in the south east because this road links two capital cities enugu and awka to onitsha a commercial nerve centre and yet the federal goverment has the money and efforntery to plan another useless satelliate launch and to finance an absurd socialist agenda by paying people to do nothing,it is best left for you to look and decide by yourself that nigerian leadership has misplaced priorities,i left off the most graphic pictures to aviod offending sensitive minds.

A journey of 1_3 hrs is now a nightmare of 4-5 days,i really made a mistake asking one of the stranded drivers what do he have to say about the present goverment i was nearly strangled.

East generally dont have good roads, due to the fact federal government is not backing them up,

most of the roads are done by comunities and elders,

since they believed the east never gave them support during the elections,

so they are left to suffer for their own fates!

But they have really forgoten that the east is richly blessed!

The east is like a tree planted by the sea side,

they will always keep on flourishing!

The east will never beg for food!
