I've always said it, we are our own problem, if DISCO and GENCO that are not part of the so called government we blame all the time(yes, they are also at fault), then we're finished.

The government did a good thing to call off the hike even though I know we would still be receiving outrageous bills from those DISCO Muthafuckers.

Anyways, see that number below, dm me if you want to get a website or logo at an affordable price

The greatest scam in Nigeria is electricity distribution by the DISCOS. I find it hard to understand why one should pay for what he doesn't use.

The Nigerian Government is the most incompetent and useless government in history since the beginning of time. Even the Israelites were well fed and taken care of while they were slaves in Egypt, which I believe was the main reason why they were still able to multiple greatly in number. You increase cost of living in all aspect, oya increase minimum wage that citizens will use and sustain themselves ..No!! Bunch of selfish , greedy and shameless old things meant to be in retirement homes occupying positions not meant for them.why was this even privatized in the first place, cos that's when all this nonsense started. This pandemic took a toll on Nigerians. Feeding increased , transportation increased everything increased while people lost their jobs , those that still have one, their salaries were slashed. The government is doing absolutely nothing to support its citizens. It's not like they are not up to the task, but selfishness and greasiness will not allow them do so. These are the kind of threads I hate seeing in the morning cos they end up ruining my day. A time is coming when the houses of this so called politicians will be looted in broad day light and nothing will happen.

Why are the Discos so scared of metering everyone?

If they can't cope with the industry they are free to pull out or sell to Siemens.

This rip off is too much and d system failure has gone on for too long, haba!!

They Need To Suspend The Hike And Fix Our Electricity To Nomal, I Bet You, Give Us Light For 24 Hours And See If We Won't Pay.

24 hours light cost money. Jonathan sold PHCN to his friends that have zero clue about running a power company and cannot generate the funds needed to do it either.

This is nepotism at work. If we had sold PHCN to companies like Seimens then, we would have recorded major improvement in electricity already.

Yes, they should provide meters before hiking prices, there is no place in the world where electricity is estimated, dem thieves.

You hit the nail on the head.

Natinal assembly is toregulate and not to mandate.... why make those who ventured their money into investing in the country's power sector bite their finger in regret. Why must you create unnecessary hardship for investors... if you cound provide free electric ty to all your citizens why did you do it...why did you have to sell the facilites to them... Why not look at reducing the proposed hike in rate rather than outright stay of execution ....

the power companies still have to pay their bank loans and staff salaries even in this period..... why not engage them instead of forming nonsense activist and defender of the poor man on show. How many of them can successfuly run a company that doesnt rely on governmental cheating and corruption.... you think the business is that easy to run ... yet Dangote and co have not entered it to fleece or monopolise like they have done to our food and building materials industries? This is the worst period to negate investor sentiment on the country... We have enough loand to fund our kwekwe feed the nation and socialist projects.... doesnt mean we have escaped the hardship of recession yet

There's absolutely no need for an electricity hike this period. The government should reconsider. Meanwhile you can pay for electricity using *737# from GTB.
