Re-read my first post about Igbos (not Igbos) having no problem with honest Hausa or Fulani business men having their cattle markets in the East (something that has existed in the East for years).

And you're hereby canceled and dismissed, you dey too dull for my liking grin
Ipob is Igbo. Ipob is the poster boy of Ndigbo. Ipob is a creation of Ndigbo to push Igbo agenda. Live with that fact.

I stopped reading when you said "when IPOB speaks then Ndigbo has spoken".

That is an insult. I won't bother reading further because any other thing you add on that premise will not make sense to me.

Have a nice day

Mr op, I will advise you to please stop listening to fake news and writing rubbish. Where did you see fulanis buying land in South East? There is a difference between buying land with your own money and killing people and chasing them out of their fathers land so you can claim the land for a useless business. It's worse when you do it with the federal government's backing. Please don't you dare compare the igbos with the fulanis in terms of land and houses. We purchase land legally.

Let me put it another way: when Ipob speak Yoruba have spoken. Are you okay with that?

Crime knows no tribe. There are as many Fulani criminals as there are Igbo criminals.

The major difference being that Buhari is treating Fulani terrorism with kid gloves and giving them massive amounts of money, while on the other hand, criminals from the other part of the country who have committed less grievous crimes than the fulanis, are crushed with sledge hammers.

If Fulani criminals will not be hounded like criminals from other parts of the country, then it makes sense for Igbos not to want Fulanis buying up their lands, because once they settle, their criminals will be treated like sacred cows, while terrorizing the Igbo communities they are based in

Good people can buy land anywhere to live and do business

Evil people like Fulani terrorists who are bloodthirsty should never be allowed to own land anywhere there is civilization.!
They belong to the deserts and evil forest where their likes spiritually emanate from...!
As Fulani are evil to Ndigbo, according to you, so are Ndigbo evil to others. However, Ndigbo are still accommodated despite their perceived evil. Why can't Ndigbo then tolerate Fulani in their land?

I think you have been out of the public discourse for a while.

Igbo have continually been vocal about their contempt of the Yoruba race for a while now.

It is hard to see any 'Biafran' person that doesn't display hatred towards the Yoruba, especially on social media.... They blame the Yoruba race for whatever they feel like blaming on the race.

And they have often forgotten that they are mostly on the same side, they just have a way of going about things that are different.

It is confusing to really know whether someone is on the same side with you, when the person is helping a well known terrorist into power (e.g 2015)

It is not right that a whole ethnic nationality should suffer for the crimes of some criminal elements among them. Not all Ndigbo are good, bad elements are among Ndigbo too.

it was more than that and you guys know it.

Atiku chose a man from the Igbo land to cajole votes from that side

Buhari chose a man from Yoruba land to cajole votes from Yoruba land..

It was more of a tussle of power than a tussle of ideology.

Do you think Yoruba people had a choice? You guys voted for Atiku, no need to cry wolf now.

We are on you guys side, but are you on ours?

Igbos are against terrorists owning any piece of their land.

Have Igbos ever called out any other ethnic group this way? That is because the other ethnic groups don't engage in terrorism, but Fulanis are a different kettle of fish.
the fulanis own the farms they destroy to feed their cows? Wow...that's news to me. We are not worried that they are selling cows in Abia. We are worried that they are causing trouble for our farmers and women

For peace to rain Fulani are willing to pay for land and move in mass to the east the way Ndigbo are in Yoruba land. The peace - loving Fulani want to establish Fulani communities in Igbo land the way Igbo are in Lagos. While they have not started this yet Ndigbo are raising false alarm and misinforming the public. It is not fair.

Don't you see the pattern?

And then a Yoruba man wants to be the Nigerian president in 2023, and you think the SE/SS alliance will vote for that

Igbos are always ready for partnerships but it has to be one based on fairness and justice. The SE has not produced a president for many decades, and a region that has produced the president and VP for 16 years since 1999, by 2023, is still angling to be the president in 2023. HABA!!!

That is exactly what the Fulani are doing in Abia state but Ipob has started cooking up propaganda against the Fulani. This is due to the land grabbing philosophy of Ipob which states that Indigbo must displace the indigenes of any land they settle settle among. This is the basis of the false flag Ipob is raising against the Fulani purchase of land in Abia state and by extension the whole of south east.

Daft thread, a thread replete with so much ignorance and misinformation. When last did you hear of any law abiding Northerner in the East been attacked or harrassed? there are many of Hausa communities in the East and these people have lived and co-existed peacefully in various parts of the East for years. They own lands, practice their religions and businesses unperturbed. Next time learn to separate knee-jerk reactions from a known rabbke-rouser like Nnamdi Kanu and his sheepish followers who revel and thrive in falsehoods from rational and cognitively sound Igbos who know better.

Now it's a known fact that the main threat we face in Nigeria more than any indices of insecurity is the issue of Fulani herdsmen who are seriously on a rampage all over the country. Except you are intentionally too daft or just disingenuous not to know what's going on in the South and Middle belt in the context of killings by herdsmen, then it's best you just STFU and stop your boring ethnic baiting shenanigans. Igbos don't come to the South west and kill, displace or rape your people... we use our sheer hustle, smarts and business acuity to buy and develop lands and properties in Lagos and other parts of the SW. So your attempts to blackmail Igbos with the unfounded assertions that we have a problem with law abiding Northerners coming to the East to buy lands and live are dead on arrival. Our problem is with the Fulani herdsmen who come and occupy farms and lands forcefully like they are doing all over the nation...not with our peace loving Northern brothers who have lived and co-existed with us for years with no qualms.

You criticize Nnamdi Kanu in your first paragraph, then you repeat all the things Nnamdi says in your second paragraph. Nnamdi NEVER groups Hausa and Fulani people together, and he ALWAYS speaks positively of Hausa people, that's why he has support amongst many Hausa people.

Fulani's don't buy land. The complaints are about giving up expanded hectares of land for free because of a political promise for office or protection.

Nobody in Igboland will complain or be sad because some people of other ethnicity, race, religion or creed paid adequate price for any real estate, property or land anywhere in Igboland

The truth is there is no land for sale in Igbo land. Igbo cannot live side by side with a large population of non - Igbo in their midst in Igbo land. They can never cope. The hospitality the Yoruba and other ethnic nationalities afford the Igbo in their millions cannot be reciprocated by the Igbo. I cannot imagine a population of one million Yoruba and two million Fulani in Igbo land.

We have many Igbo markets in Lagos. How many Yoruba markets are in Onitsha? None! Onitsha is for Ndigbo and they must control it. How many Yoruba are market leaders in Onitsha? None.
Yet Ndigbo will be challenging Yoruba headship of market in Lagos.
