Simply because it did not favour the north. They dish out what they can't accept, through lopsided quota system, appointment into government now this. It is with such a shame that I saw only northern elements in the senatorial committee looking into this matter and so much emotion put into deliberations with one of the member jumping around to influence all discussion and emotive jesticulations coming from committee members. Keyamo was invited to NASS to come explain the program, modalities etc. Question was raised by a female law maker with more of allegation. Keyamo was planning to respond to the questions or allegations which were made in camera, all of a sudden, law makers who intend to unravel corruption agreed to switch to be done in private, behind the camera or media. Keyamo rejected that stance and requested the hearing be done before the media to ensure transparency and accountability. Is that too much from a minister who was invited for a public hearing? The government shouldn't be creating jobs beyond the jobs that will allow them to provide their services such as customs, public services, revenue collection, education etc.
