They searched their conscience and probably found out they did even worse things and are full of evil. They were cornered and couldn't bear how they were being mercilessly judged by their "conscience". They all dissappeared one by one and even left the woman for JESUS.

I don’t think you are entirely correct. If we don’t hold ourselves accountable and judge when necessary I tell you we will make the world a living hell for all . Judging is not condemning. We can judge individuals and condemn sinful acts. That’s my thought |
