Three biggest albums in Nigerian Music will shut down the music industry this summer as three of the biggest Afrobeat/Afropop superstars all set to drop their albums this July.

After they made the announcements on their respective social pages, fans who could not hold back their excitement, have since been flooding the social media with posts on how they plan to consume these musics when the best of the best albums in Nigerian music are finally released in July.

Check out the three biggest albums in Nigerian music that will disturb your speakers this summer.

1. ‘Made In Lagos’ – Wizkid

Starboy Wizkid has over the years redefined Afrobeat in Nigeria and has recorded several amazing hit songs.

Wizkid previewed the ‘Made In Lagos’ project with the SoundMan EP, which he released at the end of 2019. However, the ‘Made In Lagos’ album is on a different level. Staryboy has done a lot to create his clearly defined and unique Afrobeat sound. Therefore, the ‘Made In Lagos’ album is a signature project to tell the world that Afrobeat is made in Lagos. And Wizkid is the front runner of the modern day Afrobeat sound.

The Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid has disclosed that he has finished working on his highly anticipated project tagged ‘Made In Lagos’ and will be released July 16, 2020.

2. ‘A Better Time’ – Davido

Last year, Davido made a huge upgrade from his debut album ‘Omo Baba Olowo’ by redefining his game and giving his music a clear direction in his latest album, ‘A Good Time’.

However the Afropop superstar whose music has traveled overseas and overland has not stopped to improve his music. OBO thinks he can do better and has therefore named his forthcoming project ‘A Better Time’. With Nicki Minaj on one of the tracks of the album, a better album from Davido is about to fall on us.

Davido has this summer all planned out for his fans. Firstly, he announced that he will be dropping ‘A Better Time’ album in July. Secondly, Davido decided to go on social media sabbatical to give himself a better time to prepare for and focus on this huge project.

3. ‘Twice As Tall’ – Burna Boy

Burna Boy put in a masterclass effort on his previous musical project, ‘African Giant’ and the reward was a Grammy nomination as well as claiming the title ‘Odogwu‘ of the Nigerian music industry – duly deserved!

After the huge success of the ‘African Giant’ project, Oluwa Burna, who always reminds us that he’s a hustler, is not relenting yet and is shooting for the stars to become ‘Twice As Tall’.

He disclosed that his ‘Twice As Tall’ album will be released in July 2020. According to him, he has learned everything he needed to understand about the Grammys. So now, he is ‘Twice as Tall’. That means we should expect something twice as good as the ‘African Giant’ project, and maybe a Grammy award this time.

Your playlists will get massive updates this July, are you ready?
