Arthur Melo And Miralem Pjanic Swap Deal

It wasn’t that long ago where there looked to be very little hope of the Arthur Melo-Miralem Pjanic swap deal that has been reported in the press for weeks actually going down. It was more to do with what was going on on the Spanish side of things rather than the Juventus part of the equation. There was hesitation on Arthur’s part, and that meant a deal was in serious danger of falling apart before it truly materialized into anything significant.

Yet, with Arthur’s arrival in Turin and subsequent medical exams on Sunday, those fears were officially gone. Done and dusted — forever and ever and ever.

Arthur is officially a Juventus player, the club announced on Monday. He is part of the kind of deal many Juve followers expect to see this summer — a swap deal with a little bit of cash going one way along with a player or two. In this case, it’s the player we’ve known Barcelona to want all along — Miralem Pjanic. With Arthur valued at €72 million and Pjanic at €60 million, Juventus will see €12 million head to Spain as part of the deal as well as the 30-year-old Bosnian midfielder who was signed from Roma in 2016.

Undertaker Retirement

The Undertaker seemingly announced his retirement on the last episode of “The Last Ride” (just too many lasts here). Obviously, it was a moment to grieve for fans worldwide.
The time has come – it seems The Undertaker has finally called it a day. On Sunday, the final episode of WWE Network docu-series The Last Ride aired, and the end of the programme featured a huge bombshell as the legendary wrestler seemingly confirmed his retirement after 30 years with the company. Understandably, the whole industry has been paying tribute to the Dead Man after the news, which truly feels like the end of an era. Ever since his debut at Survivor Series 1990, Taker – whose real name is Mark Calaway – has been the onFormer world champion Seth Rollins – like so many others – clearly looks up to The Undertaker, and he has thrived on the chance to speak to the living legend throughout his career. ‘To have that, and just have conversations with him backstage and get a feel for how he does things, you can’t help but be in awe of what he’s been able to accomplish over the duration of his career,’ he told Metro.co.uk. ‘He’s a first a ballot Hall of Famer, he’s a legend, he’s someone you could argue is on the Mount Rushmore of WWE.’
For three decades, The Undertaker has loomed over the WWE landscape like a menacing shadow, spelling out doom for those who dare cross him. Imbued with seemingly mystical abilities and preternatural in-ring skill, The Deadman is a WWE great in a class by himself, and no list of legends would be complete without him.
