There was a young man back in 2014, he had some free cash around, he thought about a profitable investment he could put the money into, he found none. Fortunately, he was approached by a realtor who advised him to acquire a land. He was reluctant about the idea but went for an inspection after the inspection was over he told the realtor "this place na bush na" the realtor replied "more reason why you should buy it". The realtor was able to convince him by showing him the development going on around that area. He bought the land because he felt the money will be useless in his bank account. In 2014, the land went for N4m but today it goes for N18m that is more than 4 times his investment within 6 years.

People often ask when should I buy a land? You can purchase a land anytime but I will be telling you the 3 best times to purchase a land. Number 3 is my favourite, read to the end to know the perfect time.

The following are the best times to invest in land:
• Before & during development stage: Before development, land is always cheap. After development, value has been added to the property and of course the price increases. And the property gets out of the reach of the average/common man as the property becomes really expensive. It is said, the more development added, the more the value appreciates. Price of land varies directly with the level of development. The price of a land increases in direct proportion to the amount/level of development added to it.

•During promotion: You buy cheaper, get value at cheaper prices, strike good deals with lots of accompanying goodies and promotional item, you may even be given a free land( there are lands on promo, reach out to me to know the one that suits you).

•When it is less attractive: When all you are seeing is a bush. But it takes an investor with foresight to see from today, the future of the land and his/her investment in such land. When it becomes attractive, you might have to pay through your nose because it will be too expensive. You can also purchase a land when the title has not been perfected. There are always cheaper but make sure you carry out due diligence.
