Faith, in the Bible, is a collection of all the good works done in obedience to God's every commandments, the evidence for one's claim to have love for God.

Faith is not simply the intellectual/emotional acceptance of a body of teaching as true, an idea put forth in Valentinian doctrine. That is belief. What faith however refers to are the works that serve as evidence of one's beliefs.
