Embattled Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, is already moving out his personal effects from the commission’s headquarters, INDEPENDENT has gathered.

A credible source in the Presidency informed our correspondent that some aides of Magu were already moving out his things, adding that Magu will not be returning to the EFCC.

He added that the anti-corruption boss is currently being held at Area 10 Force Headquarters and will be returned back to the Justice Ayo Salami panel investigating his activities this morning.

According to him, based on the damning evidence against him, there is no way Magu can avoid prosecution after the work of the panel is concluded.

“His boys are moving his things from his office now. He is cooling off at Area 10, Force Headquarters and will be returned back to the panel this morning. He cannot avoid prosecution from what we are hearing,” our source said.

The Senate under the leadership if Saraki refused to confirm Magu because of damning reports of corruption against the EFCC boss.

Saraki was called names and harassed by the presidency and misguided APC supporters but he stood his grounds and refused to be bullied into confirming Magu. With the way they accused Saraki of corruption, one would have thought that by now Magu would have come up with massive evidence to jail Saraki.
It is rather sad that most Nigerians are gullible and are also quick to believe the propaganda from politicians.

I am not saying Saraki is a saint but like I mentioned in my earlier post, he was the most courageous and intelligent Senate President in the history of Nigeria.
During his tenure, Saraki boldly resisted all the anti-people policies that Lawan and his rubber stamp gangs are tolerating today.

I gave up on PMB, the day he raised up the hand of a governor who was caught on camera stuffing dollars into his babaringa. It is also a comedy of errors that the same man that APC government is prosecuting for corruption is now the APC flag bearer for Edo state governorship election! And guess who is the chairman of Edo state APC governorship campaign commuter: The dollar stuffing Gandollar!

It is not how one starts that matter but how you finish or end....The bible says THE END OF A THING IS BETTER THAN THE BEGINNING...Eccl 7:8. Sincerely Magu started out well, nevertheless corruption has swallowed up another fighter.

We should all be concerned that our nation swallows up those that dare want to put things right, perhaps he became too arrogant and power drunk and forgot he is fallible. Such was the case of Maina the former pension boss. Let us not forget Nuhu Rebadu, whom OBJ used to dethrone sitting governors with immunity, how did it end with him?

This is the reason why most professionals with integrity do not want to be involved in the nations politics, it is terrible....

I doff my hat for the former Governor of Anambra, Dr Peter Obi, till date no corruption has been traceable to him, truth is he is a man of integrity. We need such men with glowing character to lead the nation.
