As shared on facebook by the Defence Headquarters, The Troops of Operation LAFIA DOLE have successfully neutralised and killed some Boko Haram/ISWAP insurgents The Nigerian Army has said on Tuesday. According to the Nigeria Army, the troops engaged the insurgents when they attempted to infiltrate their base at Mongonu on Tuseday, July 7, 2020. “Gallant troops of Sector 3 OP LAFIYA DOLE neutralized and annihilated some Boko Haram Terrorists who attempted to infiltrate Mongonu at about 1100hrs, 7 July 2020.” Source: https://insidenaija.com.ng/2020/07/07/army-neutralised-and-killed-some-boko-haram-iswap-insurgents-in-bornophoto/
