Even today the statistics aren't different. The major trouble makers in nigeria today are still Ipob, Afonja and boko haram. Picture Nigeria without the igbo, yoruba and hausa/ fulani.

They dare not lie.

The crime aspect is their own identity, no one can contest that with them and I’m pretty sure they will still brag with the numbers.

The colonialists should have built a new prison city entirely to isolate them from the rest during those days. I’m very sure they were the ones that taught other tribes how to do crime.

Let's check the list of human rituals and see the position of the Yoruba.

Nigeria without the Yorubas will be another Syria. The North and the SE will fight to death until they burn everywhere down.

What the op didn't say was that as at the time in question, there was regional policing and most people lived in their native regions.

Looking at the data, one can see that the police in the east was simply more effective than police in the other regions. The reason is because the statistics shows number of people caught and prosecuted. It doesn't necessarily show crime rate in regions. So a region with a higher crime rate but lower effective police will still rank low in that data.

The east was by far the most effectively managed region in the early stages of Nigeria

Ibo ritual history started with your cannibalism in Ngwa, Wawa and Awkunanaw....when you ambush and trap humans for morsels dripping in blood. Up unti this time we speak you are still using babies harvested from baby factory to cook delicacies and rituals for your drug mules travelling to malaysia and overnight millionaire pastors that invite drug wars into church in ozubulu.

Abi you wan lie about selling baby meat in restaurant?

See below, on 4th of August reporters thought 83 was all there was....two days later they found more skulls. A week later more skulls were discovered. grin. Una try sha!

Google books reported it as your religion to harvest human heads.

Basden reported cannibalism as your culture and you love to cook your catch a special way....rub red oil on them for good flavor. A missionary father was offended when he was offered a morsel. grin grin

these are events from the dark times of military rule.
Igbos have since stopped this for the most part while south west has finally become the hub of ritual killings.
The west are always the last to stop their evil practice. Igbos have now started stopping drug trafficking while the west are just starting
