Saw this on BBC this morning. Walked in from the kitchen to see them talking about gorillas in Nigeria.

The photos released yesterday by Wild Conservation Society (Nigeria), an international NGO that has been partnering with local communities on coordinated conservation of the species, showed a group of gorillas including offsprings backed by adult females.

It is indeed a great development!

That is why I frown at the unfounded belief of some who think God our Great Creator will just burn the earth one day and take them to heaven. That is not in God's arrangement, He has created the earth to be inhabited only by righteous people. What God reveals he will do is that one day soon he will do away with the wicked and have the earth restored into a paradise for his loyal ones. The earth will one day become a paradise after wicked unrepentant people have been removed and the current human governments crushed to pave way for the rule of His dear Son Jesus Christ, Dan 2:44, Psalm 37:9-11, 29, Isaiah 45:18.

I would really like to see these noble creatures get more protection from all forms of danger cos I've got plans to go see them myself some day[and maybe bring my nephew along].

Besides, it's great to see that the females are also bringing forth young. I was somewhat afraid that their population might be on the rapid decline. Perhaps, my fears were unfounded.

Ignorant youths that know nothing about wildlife conservation now will want to hunt animals that are almost extinct in Nigeria

This is a family of gorilla with the male (silver back) I'm not sure it's (rear) as the writer claims! It's found mostly in sub saharan, Congo democratic,even camaroon, they are very huge with a strong bite force and rarely have predators.
