Upwork has never been fair to people from this part of the world, don't blame Nigeria or join the bandwagon of those saying its Hushpuppi and co. It's a bad habit to ignore the facts too. There are MORE scammers in India but they still get jobs than people in this part of the world.

Until we can have our own afrocentric websites for freelancers, there will always be certain discriminations since white people are the ones who give out the jobs there anyways and a lot of them may not trust the skill level of Nigerians. This is why so many people prefer to use US or European details for their profile....

Nigerians are 50% corrupt people.....

We just have to ensure that we the good people fight to restore our lost hope from the world....

Seeing davido have a video call with Hushpuppy from the prison got me feel bad...

Back in the days, if you are punished for a crime you committed, the rest of the people will avoid you making you restrain your closeness to people. And when othe s see that act, they stay out of crimes....But today, we celebrate criminals both in politics and in our environment...

It's what we think of ourselves that foreigners use against us. Nigeria isn't the only corrupt country in the world.

Dominican Republic's government relies on stolen money from other countries to run their economy, their president is a major scammer, but when last did they discriminate against someone from there?

We are too quick to demonize ourselves and that's the major issue.
