I don't know but according to the Judeo-Christian Bible, we're made to know that he/she (didn't even know he/she had a gender identity) is the deceiver if mankind according to God. A wise man once said, "if you want to judge a matter, listen to the different sides of the story but unfortunately, we've only listened to god's side, so are we wise?"

From what we learn of Satan in the old testament, he existed before man did.

So where did the "he" you refer to as the devil come from?
