Nairaland needs to do something about those guys posting porn pics here, i was in a vehicle with people and suddenly porn pics displays while scrolling, thank God for the co-passengers where mot looking at my phone. Please this can really dent ones image.

This has become a major major issue, I can no longer read Nairaland confidently in a public place, because I am scared that a lewd picture will show up as I scroll down and, you cannot explain to anybody what you are not; they have passed their judgement on you and zoomed off, for no fault of yours. @Seun Osewa, please help those of us that are trying to stay sane. We would be grateful for that.

Please... Exceptionally gifted attacking teams will always get more penalty calls.

Where you expecting to see overtly defensive teams like Newcastle, Burnley, Brescia, Eibar, etc, getting more favorable "VAR penalty calls"??!
VAR was so wrong in the match between Everton and Man U, when it cancelled a last minute goal by Everton.

So you know, I'm a Man utd fan

VAR is the reason Manchester City did not play the champions league final against Liverpool last season.
Its only in England decisions involving VAR is taken by the man at the office according to Mourinho but in Spain, Italy etc referees are given the opportunity to go and check replays themselves..

Since VAR has failed to maintain its neutrality in any game,I hereby voted against it as a football fan.In England, Liverpool and Manchester United have been de greatest beneficiary of dubious VAR decisions so far.The chief beneficiary being Man U.How can u explain to the generation unborn dat Hernandez of Man U could climb on Aston Villa defender's leg on de line outside 18yards box,yet VAR confirmed that a penalty should be awarded in favor of Man U.Whenever I rewatch de video or pics of that incident,I know dat VAR has done more harm than good in football.
To hell with VAR since it has decided to become de number 12 players in de pitch to some teams!!

VAR has reduced interest in football...simple.

Think about it...how intensive football was and see the charade it now is ...

VAR was against Liverpool than it favoured them, Man United alone has 13 penalties from VAR followed by Chelsea so how was Liverpool favoured.
This was even before Pandemic oO... Liverpool was literally tagged LiVARpool then, and mind you VAR isn't all about only Penalties

English league just use VAR to fine tune their match fixing to perfection... Don't know about other leagues
Re: VAR: What Famous Coaches Think by zudozz: 6:58pm On Jul 13, 2020
it kills the spark and spontaneous feeling of the game and goal scoring. I do not like VAR!

The worst part is that even if you report the post, Nairaland will only hide it from you and it will still be visible elsewhere. I reported a similar post this morning. Opened a private tab and visited the link only to find that it's still there. So they just removed it from my view to 'please' me?

The problem is not VAR but the incompetent referees interpreting the video feed especially in the EPL. Hawkeye is still the best technology introduced to football so maybe if we can get VAR to work like that i.e without human interference, things will be better. I don’t know how that will work though.

I like VAR only in the case that the central referee will be allowed to watch the replay himself and make the final verdict...And not some random group of people with computer enclosed in a room and be giving the final decision..

The VAR people must have been having a cup of coffee at that moment.”
Guardiola was savage in his response as he compared the failure of the system in two different games over the course of past games in the EPL.

I love this!

VAR has been full of controversy since it's inception but we have no choice, it's here to stay. It just has to improve, some application of VAR have been too literal.

Contact me for US and UK used laptops

There is nothing to improve there, is the people that are behind it that needs to be sincere and truthful with their decisions. There is partiality in their decision at times
