Russia has become the first country to have successfully completed clinical trials of a Covid-19 vaccine in Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. The research has been completed and it proved that the vaccine is safe & effective. The covid-19 vaccine is being developed by the Gamaleya Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology along with the Russian Ministry of Defence. Today the Russian embassy in South Africa tweeted about an update on the vaccine they have been working on.
