Check all these highest paid CEOs in Nigeria, most af the companies are public listed companies. They don't hold back in their making huge budget for management expenditures because it's practically the public's resources they are using for business.

When they make profits, they take a good part of it as dividend and profit sharing, no wonder they are quick to go to the market to raise funds when there's demand on them for recapitalization. Poor reserve mentality, they are the Hushpuppy and politicians of the marketplace.

I know CEOs of limited company who could afford these lifestyles but they chose to put these resources in the company's reserve for the rainy days. That's why I respect CEOs of limited companies that public companies.

However, not all CEOs of limited companies are in this good book too. Some of them can be extremely reckless in their management expenses.

Please don't quote me,

The data is from the Nigerian Stock Exchange. No be everything be lie.

@Topic: Can we say that these men are slaves for being employees? Are they throwing their dreams by being salaried employees? There are levels to "entrepreneurship" and being a "salaried staff".

Enterpreneurship is not for everyone. The probability of being employed by the so called big businesses is less than 10%, the probability of getting to the top top management position is less than 1%, the probability of becoming an executive director is about 0.1%, while the probability of becoming the CEO of such companies is less than 0.02%..

With all the odds an employee who gets a good job in a well managed business organization, who lives below his means, who invested in himself, saved and invested part of his income in portfolio Investments can build a substantial wealth for himself working for such organizations.

I don't know why the CEO of Dangote cement was not included in the list, maybe because Makoju retired about 8 months ago.

Thank you for the bold. The country needs more of better managed companies so that these people who lampoon salaried employees can get better jobs and stop the noise about becoming wealthy via "entrepreneurship".

We all need to respect the enterpreneurs, without them their won't be all these big companies. They are the most valuable wealth creators.

Waiting for the time a Nigerian owned family business will grow to become giants like Nestle, Unilever etc which started as small family businesses
