Narialanders please advise me on how to go about export/import biz

i was in lagos recently and was asked if i can be importing machine tools/equipemts,auto parts,forklifts,generating plants etc

but from my research here,the cost of the items+shipping cost is too much

someone suggest i go to germany for them,i don't know anyone in germany and even where to go

what do i do?

Good day,

You are right about the shipping cost, someone will definately be off help when they read your post. I just want to tell you that in a scenario that you want to pay for import duties you can used NDCC(Negotiable Duty Credit Certificate), it more cheaper using NDCC to using cash to pay your duties.

Make enquiries about how you will go about it.

It all depends on the level of demand for the product you're importing.
If really you want to earn a living from import business, You can go into

Jewelry importation from Dubai and sell then here. The Fashion industry is ever growing and requires new trends.

Or even Solar panel or inverters. People need power and if you can market them very well, then you'll smile to the bank.

I would encourage you to do more research okay
