Abeg me sef don tire... the rich are so removed from the needs of the common man. I did believe this woman meant well for Nigerians at some points, I hope she does not prove me wrong at the long run. I hope she is not removed from the needs of the common man. |

Maduaka amd Aig of Access Bank should be investigated. Period. They are the real thieves. They saw that Ifeanyi's business was lucrative and wanted to steal it with Aunty Ngozi... Ole. |
chosen04: she has an oil bloc that pulls in N157 million a day. Both of you shut up..Her bloc is in Atlas Cove; lagos offshore, Chevron producing field. You guys are busy killing youselves, while souther westerners are harnessing their wealth for common purpose. Nonsense. |
Shameless northern governors. The ones they recieved what have they done for their people with it. They are rogues. The common man in the north can't even feed but this lousy leaders own poshe houses and fat bank accounts both internationally and locally. Shames cunts. |
We all have become part of the problem. Our leaders show affluence, their followers want to copy them by hook or crook. Imagine the man in that picture comes home and see a childhood mate of his is now a politician with so much stolen money and oppresses the people he ought to represent, trust Nigerians, the man in the picture may even go as far as rituals to level up with his mate. We have all lost a sense of what is right or wrong all that matters is money, how it is gotten, nobody questions. Now everything has gone tribal, arm robbers (Igbo Yoruba names will show), drugs (Igbo Yoruba will show) money laundering (Hausa) criminal hatred for other tribes and religion (Hausa). This divid is not helpful at all. We have misspent our future, how about our children, how about tolerance. How about patriotism? This country has failed us so much that we don't even know where and when to show solidarity to this country. Most of us will say solidarity to who, criminals in power? The answer is no, solidarity and patriotism is to your country not the rogues in there. Can we start from loving one another. If you meet the criminal in this topic and investigate well, you will realise that his dreams were different but probably failed by his country and little options to do anything positive. This is not an excuse for what he did but we need to see that any of us can be caught in such cross fire because of limited options and frustration plus laziness. God bless the FRN |
Laila Ikeji: Despite her return to Nigeria in pomp and circumstance about one month ago, First Lady Patience Jonathan is still sick, SaharaReporters sources say. Men now this is humour at its peak.. sahara una no go kill person. How jona wife activity fit change anything for naija ...perm sec of what sef? ![]() |
biafra kwenu: You are a prehistoric low life. Idiot. U should be boko haramed. OKEMKPI is this you too? or are you in your forties too and as such decided to stand by OKEMKPI . What is Biafra Kwenu, what do you know about the ideals your ancestors fought for... you think it was fought for people like cosmas or Ubah. There is no robbery in this country that you will not hear chuka, chinedu or Ikenna as one of the culprits, is that what Biafra Kwenu means... .Ubah is no Angel, neither Aig, Access bank or herbert plus Maduaka, but Maduaka was very quick with words when he called Ubah a fraudster whereas he is the one who has a record as a fraudster. Maduaka is an ex-convict and as such should not even be sitting on any board anywhere in the world. |
OKEMKPI: Ifeany patrick ubah was my secondary school class mate @ okonqwu memorial grammar school between 1983 to 1985.He used to be our junior goal keeper then and he was popularly called GOMPELE.His Criminal tendencies was even obvious as at then but we never knew he will take it this far.most of us were scared of him even as at then.If u don't know him well, just shut up but 4 me,he is a smart CROOKAt 41 years of age you still come to naira land to blog? Do you realise the intellectual input that gave you a chance to come here at such ridiculous age to call a man of your age whom your probably dislike because he is doing better than you a crook? I bet seun the creator of nairaland is either in his late 20s or early 30s and that my friend is enough reason for you to shut up. |

What have you achieved today to equate the mischiefs of youths to what one has become over time. Who amongst us here can boldly say that whilst growing up you have never taken meat from your mother' s soup or money from your dad's pocket for frivolous needs. You called him a crook without citing an instance or example. Is maduaka an angel? The wealth he has today do you know how he came about it. The true owner of the funds used to set up cosharis today is a cab driver in America because of what Maduaka did to him. I ask you, how well do you know cosharis to come here and tell us ifeanyi is a crook. What makes you think Maduaka is not a bigger crook. Nonsense. |
paveinc: Every buisnessman is conman,so both of them are not exempted its all bores down to who outwits each other at the end..I have certain passion for this country and when it looks like those set of passions are undermined by powers that be which includes the government of the day, I weep seriously. It has become very clear that government officials are not out to serve this entity but are all greedy and ready to cut the cake off hardworking Nigerians and not support them with set policies that can promote free enterprise. I even heard that the finance minister is an accomplice in all these unfolding scheme to stifle businesses because she may have been cut a deal by CBN and the the bank in question. It is sad to have a woman of her standing sit and scheme with a hogwash bank like access. |
manny4life: Well, Nigerian Judiciary are getting what they bargained for. In a sane society, why would a British court issue an order over Nigerian asset? The judges within the system compromised themselves, so they have no say. If they haven't, disobeying a direct court order, let alone, given deference to an foreign one, is enough to hold the banks execs in contempt. By the time the execs sleep in poor man's jail for 3-days with a 100million naira fine, it's not someone who will tell them to QUIT.I have certain passion for this country and when it looks like those set of passions are undermined by powers that be which includes the government of the day, I weep seriously. uihebom: that's why you will continue to look arround and you will never get what you want in life. Ode.Cocky Igbo business men.... If there is no motive behind access bank's dealing with Ubah, why did Aig led verification committee subdue facts put forward by CBN auditors that Ifeanyi has played by the books and queried certain documentation not produced which of course was domiciled with access in line with the guarantee he Ubah provided for cosmos to help him out. Let us all watch how all these plays out. Cosmos is so labelous and it will catch up with him. Just a little dig into his legal standing indicated that he is an exconvict. He has even lied to Usa embassy to secure visas for his girlfriends to usa. One of the lady he lied to American embassy happened to be a school teacher verified by sam Ugwu then eduction minister. The usa embassy decided not to pursue the case to a conclusive end because of the intervention of the federal government. No doubt both men has contributed to the development of nigeria. However the question is, amongst both characters who is in a better position to help the other. Ifeanyi made over 4billion naira for cosmos in four months. You need to imagine how many range rovers or BMW that a cosharis need to sell to make 4 billion naira in a short while. Cosmos got greedy and wanted to stifle things and find legal means to take over the hardworking man's business in oil and gas. Access really should be investigated for there role in all this. Every body knows that Aig and Herbert are lions and hawks who want to steal and dominate it all. |
nomsochris: Who now is dispaying the attributes of a criminal, is it cosmos that came to uba s aiid when he was blacklisted or uba that breached an agreement and diverted the products. I watched cosmos talk on channels tv. The guy is not witch hunting anybody, he just wants his money. If ifeanyi feels he is bigger than cosmos he should just pay up. After all it must be chicken change to him since cosmos has a pure water company. I wonder why people would come to you for help and after you help em they ll go behind and look for means to destroy you.Cocky Igbo business men.... General Garicks: Its better you fear a man who doesnt talk than one that makes alot of noise. Ubah will receive what he deserves in full measure. Imagine him calling Coscharis a ''pure water'' company.Hope you are aware that COsmas Maduaka is an ex-convict and Ifeanyi Ubah is not... Do a bit of research and background checks on these guys, you will find out. |
Really? Now that is insane!!!!
This is my annoyance... The British should learn to respect our country |
So?? They are referring to Assetts in the UK. How can Nigerian court jurisdiction have precedence over the UK court Jurisdiction. If Nigerian courts rule that Capital Assetts are "safe", that would only apply in Nigeria. For Capital assetts in the UK they would be under UK jurisdiction and liable to face court action and any necessary judgements in the UK courts. From what I gather he can appeal and even go to certain higher courts if necessary.
The article equally mentioned that assets in Nigeria are covered by the exparte order... Isn't that in sane? |
uihebom: when will you ever have sence in your life. How many powerful criminals have your darling judiciary prosecute? It will give me pleasure to urinate on your head.lol...lazy man and slave mentality dey worry you..lol |
amiskurie: I ws looking at cosmos maduka's pure-water business this morning on lekki/epe expressway.Cosmos does have a pure water business outfit...lol.... |
Danka7777: By the level of comments I am reading on here, some of us have a long way to go. Have you guys asked yourself: Why did Cosmos Maduka and Access bank took this case to London? Why didn't they file the case in Nigeria? Because they know their case has no legal standing and would be thrown out in Nigerian court. That's the point Ubah was making on the Interview yesterday...why would Maduka bypass Nigerian court and seek London court redress? They are out to destroy this young man.
|
Nigeria is just a jungle.... the British stopped Arik from operating from its busy airports in the past, it took that singular act for the avaition minister to assert our status as independent enoough to met out same treatment to British commrcial airlines. What can our Judiciary do? The British and Access Bank just spat on our collective heads as Nigerians by ignoring the orders of a Nigerian court in desperate moves to forcefully take over the assets of a Nigerian business man. Can our Judiciary act now or allow the principles of colonialism and slavery to become the order of the day. Nigeria, where is your bleeping pride!!!! |
The British courts are independent of the Nigerian courts. They also refer to "assetts in the UK" and not assetts in Nigeria. He should fight it if he feels unjustly aggrieved. At least the UK courts are fair.
Access Bank Plc and Coscharis Motors Limited have been restrained by a Federal High Court in Lagos from interfering with the assets of Capital Oil and Gas Limited owned by Mr. Chris Ubah. Justice O. E Abang gave the order in a suit instituted by Ubah and his company pending the determination of a substantive suit before the court. This happened three days before Aig and Co secured this exparte order. |
smartchoice: we need a strong judiciary!http://nigerianbulletin.com/nigerian-news/court-restrains-access-bank-coscharis-from-seizing-ubahs-assets/ Access Bank Plc and Coscharis Motors Limited have been restrained by a Federal High Court in Lagos from interfering with the assets of Capital Oil and Gas Limited owned by Mr. Chris Ubah. smartchoice: Ubah's Assets Frozen Worldwide, Should Nigeria's Judiciary Be Headed By Britons?
|
ITbomb: Who knows how much a lawyer is hired in UK.
|
5columnist: Neo-ColonialismSo the orders of a Nigerian court is not good enough for Access Bank, they must have something going for them in British courts, same thing with Akinbola of Intercontinental bank, probably Aig's school mate and accomplice in this forceful takover stragies reside in one of these British courts as a lawyer. The Bristish has once again demostrated to Nigerians that our laws and entity is nothing but a make believe. It is up to our Judiciary system to stand up for itself now and go down the drain as Access Bank and its cronies in the UK are seeking to do. Shame on Nigeria.
