Using NDDC as a case study you can see it will just be another pipeline for corruption fiesta ..The black can never develope anywhere where he is the majority let's face it ..it can't happen

Because we have so much money to throw around in Nigeria. Every region want their own NDDC where they can go and spend 80billion in five months over nothing.

Hope you people opened a similar thread when the NEDC was created or because SE is asking for one now, you felt it shouldn't be, bitter and jealous set of people.

SouthWest had Oodua Investments, which was a devt program. Now we have DAWN. Both are self managed and has no interference from FG.

This is how we like it in SW. We dont want a Federal Devt Plan.

Very good, if that's the case. I suggest that whatever Devt Commission Bill is currently in the national assembly should be thrown out and the NEDC law should be repealed and the commission disbanded.

No Region needs a devt comm except the Niger Delta Region. Other regions would get a feel of the FG through the normal projects the govt executes every year.
