Unemployment is the biggest problem in Nigeria. Unemployed leads to alot of societal degradation such as kidnapping, banditry, armed robbery, thuggery and Internet fraud. Fighting unemployment will greatly reduce the problem and the only way to fight unemployment is by industrialization.

Industrialization will be achieved if electricity, good road network and security amongst other things is met. With this, doing business in Nigeria will be easy which will attract local and foreign investment into the country.
Do you currently how frustrating and difficult it is to do Business in Nigeria. I know a business man in Aba who spends a whopping 83k monthly only on electricity to power his business. Also, it's very expensive and risky to transport goods in Nigeria as a result of bad roads and armed robbers on the road..

The basics which are Electricity, Transportation and Security needs to be met first. If they are met, Businesses will thrive, unemployment will greatly reduce and Investors will be willing to invest in Nigeria.

Nigeria has hundreds of square kilometres of farmable land. Southern Nigeria can grow Crops such as Maize, Rice, Cassava, Cocoa, Oil Palm etc while Northern Nigeria can raise livestock which when exported will earn us revenue. Before you say the revenue realized will be too small, remember that Ethiopia, the second fastest growing economy in the world exports crops and livestock
Also, Northern Nigeria has a lot of sun light. Millions of solar panels can be installed there which will produce so much Power that we can export to other African countries. The same things applies to Southern Nigeria, were massive dams can be built to produce energy which will be exported
Other companies such as Innoson and Proforce will expand massively and serve the demand for affordable cars in Africa
All Nigeria needs is Electricity, Transportation and Security!

How about we protest for these things or threaten our senators with Recall if they don't do them

Must we remain docile and wait for a miracle to happen while our leaders continue to plunder our commonwealth. We seriously need to develop a protest culture here in Nigeria, go to South Africa, they protest even for the prettiest things such as data cost and that's why their government takes them serious. We create a conducive environment for corruption and resource mismanagement to thrive whenever we allow our Government get away with the nonsense they do. What we are simply telling them is that we support what they do and before you know it, they start changing the constitution and laws to keep themselves in power.
We Need to let them know that we are not happy with what they do and we deserve better.

Let's Protest!

The White colonialists aren't coming back to Africa, forget it

Ghana is getting there, there is massive investment going on in Ghana currently. Even with her small population, she has a GDP per capita of 2,202 thousand dollars. Don't compare Ghana with Nigeria they are miles ahead of us and it's shameful.

You are very much right. Also, Nigeria needs to stop exporting Raw materials like she plan to do when when we start mining steel from the Ajaokuta steel mine. Nigeria should use the raw steel to produce other things which can then be exported or sold in the domestic market
