May cowards starve to death!
If Nigerians cannot unite to fight for this country to get to its rightful place, then things will never change.
We do not deserve this level of wickedness and selfishness.

Something has just got to change!!

This is just fucccking sad!!

The whole of Niger Delta is disgusting and dirty!! Despite the incredibly huge allocations they recieve!!

Nigeria isnt cursed really. We are abundantly blessed but our leaders are cursed. That is why nothing good ever comes put of them.

When you say leaders, are you referring solely to the elected leaders or are you including those in civil service, private establishments and traditional roles?

If your answer includes all of the above then it is trite to say Nigerians in general are corrupt.

What did they expect? Nigeria is a useless country, so is Africa a worthless continent, so anything out of here will either be substandard or a complete flop.

Bro you are very correct about this.. an average muslim north will steal and still do more for his pple but a southerner will never do the same.. Have you heard of any northern student protest like this abroad
This question can simply be answered by looking at the literacy rate of the North compared to the South. There are barely any students to protest in the first place.

This is very shameful. Even Buhari will be in shock.

Meanwhile a whooping sum of 15 trillion naira has gone to NDDC since inception but with little or nothing to show for it.

The people from the region need to start holding their leaders and representatives accountable instead of always seeing Buhari, Tinubu or Ganduje as the source of their problem.

Oga, how did you arrive at your 15 trillion calculation ?

we have so many federal universities here in Nigeria they can school....using our taxes to pay for the foreign school fees of some few people is all shade of wrong to me. people that went to unilag and UI didn't die

See this list with Northern states at the bottom, how many northern children are students abroad compared to southern children?

Sanusi that lives in the North was lambasting Northern leaders for ignoring education in the North and he was deposed for it.

I am beginning to believe that granting southern Nigerians a separate country will be to the disadvantage of southerners. The southerners are terrible to her people. Most times we wish Britain had not hand Nigeria to Nigerians. It might be worse when Southern Seccession is granted to southerners.
Well the Northerners still select who runs NDDC. Clearly not the best Nigerians run Nigeria. Awo never ruled, Amino Kano never ruled, Maitama Sule never ruled, etc. They worked under incompetent leaders.

At least if divided, Niger Delta, SW, SE and so on won't blame FG any more. We will now hold those closer to home to account.

95% of people in ND do not know what NDDC does. ND was not created after a referendum by ND people. It's just another FG quango MDA like all the other foolish bureaucracy in Nigeria.

If NEPA and other authorities do not work, which magic do you think will make NDDC work? Or cool

The head and system are rotten.

True talk.

The Niger Deltans are also guilty of the lack of development in their region.

This is unfair. My roommate was a beneficiary and he practically would have to call again and again before they remit the money. I suspect some top officials use the money to get interest before remitting to the beneficiaries.

Same thing went through my mind

That's 2012 records Sir.

Besides if you compute all the Northern literacy percentages, it definitely cannot qualify for the word "barely".

And again, it still runs into millions of literates. That is definitely not barely.

I urge the Niger Deltans especially students not to take side on what is happening in NDDC, we have been victims of underdevelopment amidst the huge amount of money that goes to the commission monthly from FG and the oil companies operating in the Niger Delta and this is reprehensible to bad leadership.
Proper sanitation on the commission is for our own good.
I commend Mr President on the fight against corruption.
NDDC will be great again.
Sorry to disappoint you. One student body is already carrying placards in support of Akpabio

So sad. This is not the first time I'm reading of something similar. Our leaders should be ashamed of themselves. Nigeria has reached the tipping point now, expect to see a lot of unveiling. God punish whoever is responsible for the withholding of money to these young men and women.

The information is in the public domain sir.

The same law that is there to make the pay back stolen funds can also be used to hold Akpabio accountable. Afterall he no more enjoys immunity against prosecution.

How can Buhari be shocked, when he appointed Akpabio as chairman of NDDC.

Seriously, Nigeria should stop believing in think Buhari "integrity". All his appointment are unravelling as corrupt appointments from NDDC, NNPC, EFCC and the Nigerian Army (Buratai)
