This is just for fun. Mondegreen is " a misunderstood or misinterpreted word or phrase resulting from a mishearing of the lyrics of a song." No, doubts, we've all been singing the wrong lyrics to some songs and just had a good laugh when we got to know the right lyrics. For me, the one I find very funny was from my classmate when we were in a Catholic Secondary school. There was this popular song we sing in the Chapel it goes thus: We when call answer us *3 Jesus, the prince of peace But my guy will sing as: When we call Lazarus*3 Jesus the prince of peace Please feel free to add yours. PS I heard one one BBN yesterday when the house mates were singing ABBA's "Dancing Queen". They said " Watch and see" instead of "Watch the scene". 1 Like |
