Nigerian midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu has won and reacted after winning Turkish Super Lig title with Istanbul Basaksehir first time to end big three dominance. The 23-year-old former Nigeria U23 skipper and Basaksehir teammates hit form at the right time and saw off a strong challenge from Trabzonspor to be crowned Champions. Although Azubuike was not listed for the game, he was in the stadium to celebrate with his teammates after beating Kayserispor 1-0 on Sunday to clinch the Turkish league The Katsina-born star took his social media with joy and happiness to celebrate the title win for the first time in the club history with Brazilain hero Robinho.

Azubuike took part in 17 league games for the club who finished on top of the table with 69 points from 33 matches. Istanbul Basaksehir become the sixth club to win the title after Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Trabzonspor and Bursaspor.
