Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola has backed Joao Cancelo to shine for the club and also label him as one of the key players for the club come 2020/21 season.

City signed Cancelo from Juventus last summer as a back-up or probably competitor for the right-back position with Kyle Walker, however, Cancelo has not played as many games as many fans were expecting.

With Just 16 Premier League appearances this season, Pep Guardiola believes the Portuguese international will be a key member for the club next season and that rumors linking him with a move away from the club not being true.
