Congratulations on your new job! You have put in the hard work it takes to get to this point and that deserves a celebration. Hearing this statement, there are lot of uncertainties that come with a new job. You will come across new people, a new environment and a new set of responsibilities. To set the pace at your new job, here are few tips to guide you through your first milestones.

The first 90 days matter

They matter because it is your career relationship trial period. You need to observe the culture of your new organisation, analyse when people come to work and when they leave to go home. This will help you to set your work schedule.

You have to clearly understand the expectation of your new role and your co-workers. So, by the end of the first 90 days, you should be able to identify the subject matter experts on your team because they will be the go-to folks who can help you when you are stuck.

Understand the techniques of technology

Most times, we find ourselves tracking conversations and information through email and manually keeping track of their calendars, which could be stressful. Some tools that can help you to be more organised are:
