candidtalk: How will moving back home give Igbos Biafra? Assuming all Igbos moved back to Igbo land, how will this in anyway give them Biafra? Have you ever heard that the mere movement of people back to their ancestral land gave them an independent country? If all Igbos moved back home, they will still be in Nigeria and nothing will change. Why are you shouting Biafra from UK, USA, Canada, Isreal, Germany, Russia, South Africa, Namibia, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon and the hundreds of nations worldwide Igbos are voluntarily dispersed in with no interest in returning to the Biafran heartland of SE Nigeria? They are shouting Biafra from UK and USA because they are countries where things work and the rule of law prevails, not Nigeria where shouting Biafra gets you killed, arrested, detained abd dehumanised even though freedom of expression is in the Nigerian constitution. Who would return from USA to a Nigeria where nothing works? They will return to an independent Biafra where things will work Igbos excuse is always "they don't want to let us go". What efforts are you making to go? Living in the land of others and raising your kids with their tongue and ways is captivity and "not letting you go" ba? We fought a war to go, you Nigerians said no. We agitated and protested to go, you Nigerians sent python dance. We asked for referendum to let us go, you Nigerians have refused. Who is fooling who here? |

candidtalk: you and your ilks opened your usual anti-igbo thread and as usual twist history to favor you guys. please you and the op should tell the house where and how nzeogwu was buried .After that you can come back and tell us which tribe he was fronting. we lost 3m of our brethren the first time around ,the Nigerian army immediately gains eagle eyes and deadly precision when the see biafran agitators (I don't know how else you want us to show we want to leave) but ,we would just sit and see boko Haram ,iswap,Fulani herdsmen, bandits -hope I didn't forget anyone? of course I did ,bubu, his crew and his record label of a party !!!! we would see how long our lovely country would survive the way it is. You guys would be better employed using all this energy to fight for at least a restructured country because ,that's the least thing that can save naija |

Commonsense99: Actually he doesn't send shivers to anybody's spine. He was eventually killed along with 3 million people from his tribe. 2 Likes |

IspitonCowards: I disagree. He only struck anger. That's why people were quick to retaliate. There is a big difference between fear and anger 1 Like |

IspitonCowards:Well said. The only hope of the South is Igbos. The Niger Deltans are yet to rise above their minor tribal differences to forge a common ground. The South West are already fractured into 2 with once part fiercely loyal and docile when it comes to resistance to northern muslim scheming |

IamWonderful: I won't be surprised if Nzeogu was misled by Major Adewale Ademoyega, who I believe would have been constantly moaning to Nzeogu and others about what was happening in Western Region - especially Operation Wetie. This would have made Nzeogu to develop the messianic complex, leading to the botched coup. |

Im sorry for this generation, esp these young guys who were born and brainwashed in the east. I grew up in Lagos with people from various places and they are wonderful people. But people who keep arriving from their villages on a daily places influenced and spoilt the balance we grew up with. Look at this thread for instance. Disgusting. 1 Like |

candidtalk: citing a study from Abu Dhabi on crime and illteracy is woefully dishonest because the illiterate in their society are immigrants/slaves completely cut off from the countries resources outside of the manual labor they're brought in to do, and the literate are hyper wealthy state sponsored citizens who have no reason to engage in petty or violent crime (and if they do engage, are not punished as it's usually towards unrepresented immigrants). Better studies have been conducted that proved that ISIS has more engineers per capita than any non-engineer based organization in their respective societies and that terrorism is largely conducted by well educated people (the average terrorist being a college graduate). Same applies for Nigeria.
