Why You Should Not Try Going Into Blogging Or Vlogging As A Business by MrSurd: 12:20pm On Jul 31, 2020
So many bloggers have failed recently especially the new bloggers between 2019 to 2020. Blogging this days is not longer a business venture on less you have other plan of making money outside AdSense and affiliate marketing.

The hardest part of blogging is getting traffic and ranking high in search engines, with millions of blog this days, they is no more room for a new niche, all articles have already been covered by blogs daily.

News blogs are every where, Education blogs are every where, Tech blogs are every where etc.

Google won't approve your Adsense : google is not longer approving AdSense account for new bloggers especially this year 2020. Most people are already frustrated and left

Don't be deceived by Linda ikeji and others: Linda and others started at the time when blogging was not known in Nigeria hence their great success, most popular blogs have been existing for long now.

You can't compete with the big ones: They is no way you can compete with the big ones, only few people will leave punch online, vanguard, instablog, Linda ikeji blog, Bellanaija, Naijaloaded, tooxclusive, ogbonjeblog, techloy, 9jaflaver etc to visit your small new blog on less you want to only be sharing links on NL and Facebook.

People hardly visit blogs this days: since the advent of opera news, only few Nigerians visit new blogs, most average Nigerians visit the big names, online news papers and opera news. Facebook, Instagram and twitter have made it easy to get information without visiting blog, all news and information are posted in Facebook pages and groups.

Other ad network doesn't pay well: Outside AdSense which is very hard to get approval, other ads network pay little or nothing compared to the amount of data you will waste blogging

You may never get back the money you will spend on hosting and domain: You may loss the money you have spent on domain and hosting and even loss data a lot.

You can never beat the big names in SEO: how do you expect to beat naijaloaded, 9jaflaver, 360nobs, Tooxclusive in SEO google ranking top page in music download niche, the answer is hell no.

Custom ads is not possible: how do you expect to get direct advertisers and promotion seekers in your new blog with little or no unique daily visits and visitors.

Lot more things to say but blogging is not what you think, invest your time and money in physical business, blogging have changed since 2017-2018

Don't mind the grammatical mistakes if they is any, am typing with mobile device and autocorrect and mistakes are banned to happen but I don't have the time to review and correct. Just read and accept the advice, this is not an official article but an advice

I do not totally agree with your content, I only concur on the difficulty to get AdSense. Moreover, driving traffic and ranking is still very much achievable.
Blogging isn't just for AdSense and affiliates... there are other lucrative ways to make good money too!!!
