My Igbo brothers are systematically planning the future by investing in Technology (the future of generations to come) but here in Yoruba land, we planning to lead a country whose foundation is damaged.

I'm Yoruba but am envious of the Igbos.

Tribe and nationality , notwithstanding, let's learn to appreciate what is good. To Air peace management, staff and crew, big kudos.
You are making Nigeria proud.

Imagine Onyeama gets the kind of support Akiko gets. He would conveniently rub shoulders with the Rwanda Air and Ethiopia Airways in Africa.

Kudos! Anulipegi
He has passed air rewanda sef. If all the aircrafts including the a350s, and 787 dreamliners arrive he would have surpassed ethiopian airways jare.

Mi really have no problem with the proceeds from fraud being used to empower Nigerians through employment.

Let me be objective without supporting based on tribes relations.

If he has a series of fraud cases to answer, let him do justice to that.

For now, he is in the same caliber with pastors taking tithes from fraudulent members.

But I am glad his supposed loots will give others employment opportunities. Better than those burying money in their houses.

If you don't agree with my submissions, look away as it's based on my opinion.
Personally and deep down I feel this fellow made his money fraudulently from amnesty program.
As I wrote last year during his issues with the US. The money would have been plundered anyway by government officials buying houses abroad, marrying new wifes, concubines, houses etc. At least oyema invested the loot here and he is now marked as one who is of strategic national importance.
While not encouraging looting, this seems to be one that has worked well. Since government no sabi invest money, oyema take am invest for them by force. Lol

Wow. This is huge

What is the point of making a huge jet/airliner with little of no safety features in high dangerous emergencies?

I think the aviation industry is selfish and redundant. I’m not impressed until they upgrade their safety systems b4 turning a plane to a 4 star hotel in the sky.

I'm not Hausa or Yoruba but the truth is, the political class will always control the entrepreneurs in its state. If enabling environment is not created, business will crumble. Igbo's must not ignore the strive to have a solid voice in politic. My opinion anyway.

Igbo are a major tribe.
Igbo have at least 5 states to themselves which can create more than enough solid voice in anything
Igbo have at least 15 - 20 million people over the age of 18.

political class don't control entrepreneurs. what air peace and any business needs is patronage whether the patronage comes from the 5 igbo states or igbo politicians or igbo population e.t.c.. igbo have their own political class. every tribe that has at least 1 state to themselves has a political class.

enabling environment without patronage is rubbish..

What do you understand by the word " enabling environment?" Go and visit Benin airport you will see more than 20 Okada airline craft that has turn to municipal waste. Do you think you can run airline without license?

When you're grounded by the law, patronage is secondary. Is it not when you're in business that you will be patronized? I hope you remember what happened few weeks ago. Do you think there wasn't patronage to all the airline both local and international? Reason been involved in politic directly or indirectly is of a great importance to the said tribe.

to be grounded by the law means that person flouted the law.

as long as you abide by the rules of the place your business is then you're okay.

igbos control the politics of their states. do you expect igbos to bring down another igbo person's business?
