I think Amaechi is mentally ill. If he thinks he can embezzle 1 naira out of this loan then he’s joking. The Chinese will be asked to go and ask him for their money. Why is FG taking such huge loans in the first place without the reps reviewing it Why are Chinese afraid of a probe? This is more reason why the agreement must be extensively probed. Line by line. |

asobo:No Lagosian signed that loan so China can take nothing. Lagos people were not consulted. Instead they will take Amaechi’s state. It has oil. Fastest way to recover their assets. |

Abfinest007:he is not. “We took $1.6 billion to fix Lagos-Ibadan. We are asking for $5.3 billion to fix Ibadan-Kano, $3.2billion to fix Port Harcourt to Maiduguri, $11.1 billion for Lagos to Calabar. If those things were done when we had money, will we be here today? (Amaechi, 2020.) Always endeavour to read thoroughly any article before commenting. |

Abfinest007:He is not confused, you have comprehension problem. He said they need more loans $5.3b, $3.2b and $11.2b for other rail projects across the country and this is apart from the $500m already collected which they have paid $96m out of. Mo3891: Are you saying that Nigeria doesn't have #500billion to do a project? Remind me how much Dezianni stole again? "On whether the Chinese government will take over some infrastructure in Nigeria the way they did in Zambia, the minister said: “The only thing they will take over if payment is not made are those things constructed with the money." I ask, how else does colonisation come please? |

It is always good to read and understand or listen to the video interview yourself. The repayment he's talking about is the previous loan already collected and the approval he's talking is the new loan they want to collect. quote author=Abfinest007 post=92325651]amechi is a confuse man here is d reason According to him, $96 million has been paid out of the $500 million that was borrowed for the Abuja-Kaduna rail corridor. “I told them at the National Assembly that the probe may stop them from giving us the loan so here is my question . how will u be denied of a loan that has already been given to u[/quote] |

Simplyleo: You mustn't comment with this crass ignorance and hatred everytime on every topic that has nothing to do with igbos. This hatred is unbecoming for a people that have not done anything to you but hold a different outlook on life. You might think the internet is a faceless media but opinions get shaped here. People get influenced here. Be careful what you say as your word will always find it's way back to you. Everybody is entitled to their opinion however different it is from yours. It doesn't make their stand less valid nor authenticate yours. In life there will always be variations. Variety is the spice of life. Free yourself from hate. That energy could be expended in tackling those who have mortgaged your future on the alter of greed and avarice all in the name of leadership. |
